The official Australian citizenship test is designed to test the applicant’s knowledge of Australia before granting citizenship. It is based on the book “Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond”.

Who has to take the test?
Everyone aged 18 or over who wants to become an Australian citizen has to pass the test. You will receive an appointment time to site the test after you submit your application. You must satisfy the residency requirement before lodging your application.
